  • What data do we collect?

We collect and process your data to enable us to provide you with services to helping secure you a new role or assisting you with your job search, but only as far as it is necessary to do so. We require your personal data in order to be able to provide you with information regarding opportunities which you maybe interested in. Throughout the different stages of the recruitment process we sometimes require further data but again, only to the extent of what is necessary to facilitate the recruitment process.

The information we collect through the different stages of the recruitment process may include; your name, email address, telephone number, curriculum vitae (CV), your residential address, right to work documentation, identification, educational records, professional and character references.

  • How do we collect your data?

The data we collect about you is obtained from the following sources:

  • Directly from you. This is information you would provide, prior or during a new employment search. You may have contacted us directly be via our phone, email, online registration, information requests or applications made to advertised vacancies (either on our website or third-party advertisement).

  • Publicly available sources whereby you have agreed to share your data with recruitment professionals such as Job Boards (i.e. Reed, Indeed, CV Library, Total jobs…), or professional networking sites such as LinkedIn, where you have actively published or submitted your information.

  • Corporate or Business Websites

  • Reference or word of mouth. You may be recommended to us by a friend(s), former or current employer(s) or colleague(s).

If we are to approach you and instigate contact first, we as a business operate under the lawful basis of ‘legitimate interest’ whereby we regularly approach talent for role(s) which may match their skillset, profile or ability. If this is the case we, after initiating contact would request your consent to obtain and process your personal data.

  • Legal/Lawful basis for holding your data

Our business operates under the lawful basis of ‘legitimate interest’ for holding your personal data. However, the basis for holding your personal data could be also determined on one or more of the following reasons:

  • Legitimate interest (as mentioned above) and where we will ensure the data is accurate and we have been transparent with you

  • Your consent 

  • Legal obligations under applicable law to retain records for a certain period

  • How will we use your data?

We will use your data and information in such ways to provide you with work-finding services and facilitate the recruitment process which could include (but not limited too):

  • Using your details to match your skills, experience and education with potential role(s) and employer(s) that could meet your requirements;

  • Making you aware of current opportunities that may suit your requirements;

  • Contacting and updating you about any applications you have made or roles you have been submitted for;

  • Sharing your details with clients with the aim of securing a potential role.

  • With your prior and additional agreement, we may share your details with organisations that we do not have any prior relationship with, however believe that they could have a job requirement for someone with your experience and skillset.

  • How do we store your data?

We securely store your data within EEA and should this ever change, we would update our privacy policy and notify you should we wish to continue to store your data. The handling of your data is hugely important to us and we want you to know that we take every precaution to protect your information. We regularly review our security to ensure the information held remains safe and secure. To this end, all information is stored securely whereby only employees will be granted access to this data. With this in mind, although we do our utmost to ensure your data is kept safe and secure, we cannot guarantee the security of the data which you disclose online and you accept that the internet is not completely secure and agree that we will not be liable for unauthorised use, distribution or discretion of you personal information.

  • How long do we store your data?

The length of time we will hold or store your personal information for will depend on the services we perform for you and for how long you require these. As we aim to support candidates with placements over many years, and potentially throughout their careers, the purpose for which we retain candidate data is often an ongoing purpose. We regularly conduct data-cleansing and updating exercises with our candidates to ensure that (a) the data that we hold is accurate and (b) we are not holding data for too long.

All data would be fully deleted from our database at the very latest 5 years from the last positive incoming correspondence from yourself. Unless deletion has been requested earlier by you. Once your data has been on our database for 5 years and we have had no contact from you we will permanently delete all data related to you.

Our ‘terms of business’ state that our clients should only retain candidate(s) data no longer than is necessary for its purpose (unless otherwise required or permitted by law), such as contact details, CVs, references and other information provided directly by you as the ‘data subject’ or otherwise collated about you for the purposes of assessing their suitability for a position.

  • Marketing

We would like to send you information about your job search which may be relevant to your search or that we think you might be interested in, for roles within organisations that have instructed us to act on their behalf to search for suitable candidates.

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt-out at a later date. You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes.

If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please let us know by emailing/calling us. 

  • What are your data protection rights?

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access– You have the right to request copies of your personal data. 

  • The right to rectification– You have the right to request that correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

  • The right to erasure– You have the right to request that erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to restrict processing– You have the right to request that restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The right to object to processing– You have the right to object to us processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
